Things you should know about your Mobile Phone

How to Disable a Stolen Mobile Phone:
Your mobile phone has a unique 15 digit serial number. If your mobile phone gets stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this serial number. They will then be able to block your handset, so even if the thief changes the sim card, your phone will be totally useless.
To get your 15 digit serial number, dial:   *#06#    (Star, Hash, Zero, Six, Hash)     Write it down and keep it in a safe place.
You won't get your phone returned, but at least you will know the person that took it, can't sell it, or use it and run you up a big bill.

Mobile Phone Emergency Number   (Only use if "000" is unavailable)
The worldwide emergency number for mobile phones is  112.  If outside your mobile network coverage area, dialling 112 will search any existing network to establish an emergency number. 112 can also be dialled even if the keypad is locked.

Mobile Phone - Reserve Battery Power
If your phone battery is very low you can activate the reserve power by dialling  *3370#   (Star, Three, Three, Seven, Zero, Hash)  This should give you enough power to get you out of trouble. The reserve will be recharged next time you charge your phone battery.
